Splash parks is where it's at!

This summer we went to a couple of splash parks and they were perfect for Sienna.  She has a blast!

Sleeping...I miss it.

We all know that Sienna doesn't like to sleep that much.  Never wants to miss out on what's going on!  But we had kinda been on a good roll this summer.  She had been sleeping from about 7-7:30 to 5 or 6.  AWESOME...but oh how I would love to sleep until 7AM.  What a treat that would be!  Remember the days when you could sleep until noon??  Well I do and I think that would be paradise to have that one day again.  Even if you end up waking at 9AM but being able to stay in bed until noon would be amazing!  So here is a little letter to you Miss Sienna Hope...

Dear Sienna,

Can we please go back to sleeping until 5 or 6AM?  These 3:30AM wake ups are not going to fly when your daddy has to go back to work and can't take naps with you during the day.  Your momma has pulled her arm muscle in her left arm a couple nights ago and then last night pulled a muscle in her neck try to get you back to sleep.  Please, please, lets sleep a little longer.  Hey, we won't be mad if you sleep until 8!

Back in May Sienna had her first go at being a flower girl at her Uncle Lance and Auntie Ariana's wedding.  Let's just say she did pretty awesome for being a 1 year old!  She did her duty and then with a little help from momma she made it down the rest of the aisle.

Let me just say this, we have been having some MAJOR nice weather this summer and I cannot complain one bit.  I feel like Sienna doesn't even know what rain is.  Since she has come into this world she hasn't experienced too much of it!  Here are some of the things she has been doing this summer (mostly in her diaper)...

watching parades

Lots of time in the sprinkler

visiting mommy at lunchtime

playing on the beach

snoozing

going for walks

swinging!
