1st M's game

Over memorial day weekend we hit up 2 M's games.  We had originally planned on only going to the Sunday game but when we got offered free tickets from Jen and Reece so we decided to go Saturday too!  At first I was a little hesitant at how Sienna would do at the games but to my surprise she was an ANGEL.  Like we are talking no cryin at all on Saturday and a minimal amount on Sunday.  I think Saturday we were lucky to have baby whisperer Steph get Sienna to sleep and we had a great family behind us that kept Sienna entertained and smiling.  Sienna got her first game certificate (to later be framed :) JK)  On Sunday we had a good go until it was time to eat, did you know that they have a nursing lounge at the stadium??  Well they do and it is awesome and quiet.  So all in all it was 2 very successful trips to the Mariners games with Sienna...but the Mariners were not so successful.  So far Sienna is NOT their good luck charm.

I know all about em!  Puke, pee and poo all day, every day. :)  It is funny how it doesn't even phase me now.  I will sometimes leave the house with puke in my hair and maybe a little on the back of my shirt.  It's fine.  I think it might be moisturizing. 

Oh Sienna, you are always so hydrated and pee 5 pound diapers.  Sometimes, like this morning, you pee so much your diaper can't hold it all.  We were having such a good snuggle time and it came to a halt when I felt the warmth of you a little too warm and ended up with a puddle on our sheets.  The laundry never ends!!! 

I guess that is what bathing is for and you sure do love your baths!

Sorry you have to tilt your head

1st Mother's Day!!

My first momma’s day was perfect.  I woke up and snuggled with Sienna and LT brought me breakfast in bed.  Blueberry pancakes and a smoothie.  Then I got to take a nice long shower without Sienna in the bathroom with me! J  When I came downstairs there were flowers, a picture of me and S, and presents.  I got a necklace with an S and Sienna’s birthdate on it.  Perfect!  Then it was up to me where I wanted to go.  I decided it would be fun to take a ferry ride to Bainbridge Island.  We walked on and they day couldn’t have been any more beautiful.  We had lunch and walked around the little town.  We topped it off with some delicious ice cream, but not without waiting in a line that was around the corner!   We got home and LT broke in our new bbq with my dinner request of flank steak and corn on the cob.  Delish!  It was a perfect day and I can get used to these mothers days every year!   So blessed this year to be a momma to a pretty little baby girl.  She completes our little family of 3.

Month numero dos

SIENNA!!  You are 2 months! 

So many things you have accomplished in two months:
- First trip to the beach.  Golden Gardens
- You still are in love with your changing table
- You coo all the time and it is the sweetest sound in the world.  You say agooo a lot.
- You still love your Briggsy boy and you get to see him weekly
- You went to your first mommy class and you were a perfect angel
- You let your mom take a shower almost everyday!  woot!
- You smile when someone smiles at you
- You have found your hand and you love to suck on it
- You still love to snuggle and you are my sweet love bug
- You SLEPT THRU THE NIGHT....TWICE!!  Can we keep that up??
- You definitely have a little personality and you don't want to miss anything that is going on around you.  So sometimes you don't take naps during the day...
- You are still sleeping in our room
- You can now fit into 0-3 month clothes and have moved into #1 diapers
- After you are done eating you sometimes do a windmill with your arm...like woah that was good!
- You are still having tons of visitors and you are pretty good at entertaining them most of the time

You are such a sweethart and you make me and your daddy love you more and more each day.  When you smile up at us, you have us wrapped around your finger and the huge blowout that got on you mommy makes that memory disapear.  We love you baby girl!!
