Christmas 2012

Well Christmas came and went like a blurrrrrrrrrr...But boy was it fun to have a little one to get excited about the season this year! :)  We started off the festivities with a brunch with BFF Briggs.
Next we celebrated with the Ostrom side of the family at our house.  It was just to be expected, loud, fun, eating, laughing and cheering(for the Seahawks).  The little ones were tearing thru the house, Sienna was taking it all in and TJ didn't leave his spot on the couch for fear of losing the front row position for the Hawks game.  All in all it was a good time but like always, we missed our California clans and of course my grandpa who is in the hospital.

On Christmas Eve we headed to Aunt Martha's for the traditional chicken pitas...yum yum!  The food spread is just amazing and I think I might have ate more at her house than I have all year.  It was fun to catch up with the cousins and watch Sienna "run" around the house.  This year we missed going to church because of an early bedtime but don't worry Sienna you will get to go next year!

Christmas day we actually got to sleep in a little (6:30AM).  Although both LT and I had been fighting off a cold, I think my cold and sickness hit full throttle on Christmas Day.  But that didn't slow us down.  We enjoyed opening presents as a family for the first time in our new house.  Sienna "oohed & ahhhed" at everything.  She did a little dance with her singing reindeer to really start the morning off right. :)

Then it was off to my parents house for some more presents and breakfast!  Sienna was excited to see Hank and Hank was excited to be in every picture (aka Hank the Photobomber).

Next and last stop was to the Turners for Christmas Dinner.  Chicken Marbella is always on the menu and always delicious!  We exchanged gifts and opened stockings, Sienna peed on Grandpa :).  Then the Hildebrands arrived and we ate, drank and chatted then opened more presents.  Sienna got spoiled and loved playing with cousins Alex and Dylan.

We are so very blessed to have such amazing family and friends.  Christmas is a wonderful excuse to get to spend that extra time with them and we enjoy it so much.  Until next year Christmas!!!

Maybe we will like Santa a little more???
